Construction waste

Reception points for large loads (over 4 m3) of construction waste:

Kiimassuo waste centre
Kiimassuontie 127, 30420 Forssa

Hallavaara waste centre
Luvalahdentie 323, 27710 Köyliö

Small loads accepted at waste stations are loads of up to 4 m³ in size. Larger loads are weighed and directed to waste centres at weight-based prices. The decision on whether a load is suitable is ultimately made by the waste station manager.

Before you start:

You should make arrangements at the construction site in advance before starting construction and demolition work. Make sure that there are sufficient collection equipment and sorting places for different waste types at the construction site. Separate reusable materials, recoverable waste, hazardous waste, mixed waste. Keep the waste dry and as clean as possible. Construction waste must be sorted, separating out hazardous waste, impregnated wood and special waste types, such as asbestos. Consider whether you should deliver the waste on an interchangeable pallet or through the Pärinä service or bring it to a waste station yourself.

Examples of mixed construction waste:

  • porcelain and ceramics, e.g. sinks
  • plasterboard/particleboard with tiles attached
  • roofing felt with wood attached
  • PVC plastic (incl. drain pipes, flooring, tarpaulins, vinyl wallpaper)
  • framed window panes
  • hardened urethane and grout
  • unsorted loads from demolition sites
